Stars on hand for spring Pinstripe party – March 17, 2015 (NY Post)
The premier party of the spring training season shows no signs of slowing down.
“Wish You Were Here Productions’’ a New York City marketing company representing former athletes, put on an affair in Tampa at the Chase that had star power everywhere the large crowd turned.
The event was hosted by Andrew Levy of Wish You Were Here Productions and Tim O’Neill of TKO Enterprises.
Hall of Fame pitcher Goose Gossage was joined by former Yankees teammates Ron Guidry and Bucky Dent. Also on hand, among others, were Orlando “El Duque’’ Hernandez, Darryl Strawberry, Stump Merrill and Joe Girardi.
Richard Albero, who is in the midst of walking from Tampa to Yankee Stadium to raise money for the Wounded Warrior project, took a break in the trek to attend.
With Yankee Hall of Famer Yogi Berra unable to attend, a lot of the conversation between guests was how Berra and his late wife, Carmen, were staples at the party for years.
